Aaaaaaaaaarrrghhhhhhh!!!! what a week I have had, I am sooooooooooooooo tired at the moment, so tired that I am not suprised I'm not typing with my eyes closed. Today has been a very long day. I was at this event for work and had to be at The Sheffield Utd stadium at 7.30am for preparation purposes. Todays event was to celebrate and award young achievers in the construction industry, it was an event diva had organised and I was on the registration side. Good job it wasn't an ALL day event and I was able to leave around 10.30am. I got back to the studio for 11ish.
So much work to complete at the moment, it's ridiculous. Just doing simple amends to artwork can take up a good half a day! I'm going to strat to do 'TO DO LISTS' or 'Checklists' bcos at this rate I feeel I'm going to miss out deadlines if I'm not careful...Plus Lock, one of the designers had been off this week so that didn't help. After work, I had a quick drink with Chris, Martin, Dan and Steve in the Rutland pub (it's a weekly thing we do!), in a way it's kinda nice to socialise with the colleagues out of work. To not talk about work stuff and start rambling on about crap is nice! :) Plus some of the girls at work have asked me this week whether i fancy going to see Chicago at The Lyceeum theatre next month and so far a good group of us are planning to go. Get those tickets booked for us Anita! I haven't been to a musicial show in ages. Oh, Oh!!! and I haven't forgotten CanD and Suz for us to go and see that exhibition in The Millenium Gallery. CanD told me the galeries close at 5pm weekdays so i guess I will have to take a day or half a day off work to go? Perhaps I'll need to find out if they open on a sunday.
I went to The degree show in The Workstation for Sheffield students this evening, met up with Paul Clarkson too (it's good to see he hasn't changed, very polite and generous like usual - thanks for my orange juice Mr C.), there's some very talented GD students in there, alot to see and some interesting work on display. If there are any towners passing by, it's worthwhile to go in and take a look at the stuff. I'm hoping to see ur work next Suz :)
I'm so glad it's the weekend. I need to sleep like Sleeping Beauty!! I've also got a very eventful weekend lined up. Pak Hoo tomorrow and it's Richards birthday on Sunday, I'm praying the sun will stay out for us as he's planning a BBQ. I haven't attended a BBQ this year yet and am dying for a greasy burger with lots of ketchup and sald.....frankfurters? sweet potatoes?
Sun? pleeeeeeeeease stay out for us! - see U sunday Richard. I'm sure we'll help to make U have a very fun and memorable 'Hey' day! - typing off now - CinDzzzz is shattered....
