Bouncers

THANKS CLAIRE for a lovely evening...Claire treated me to see Bouncers at The Crucible theatre tonight, it was the first night showing and it was a good turn out. Apart from musicals, plays and sketches have never been something I've been interested in but tonight's show, Bouncers was very funny! It's very 'taking the mick!', lots of bits were offensive too and hard hitting (makes u think how our society is today)...but some bits had me in fits of laughter....cheers Claire for the treat! :)
I'm off to see Annie with the colleagues this month too at The Lyceeum. I've also asked Claire to book me tickets for Joseph and the Technicolour Dreamcoat, which will be an even better treat! It's not that guy who won the singing contest on BBC1 playing Joseph but it's the Joseph who came fifth place.

Uhmm, what else?...It's the freshers Chinese party tonight at Embrace, I was asked to go out but kinda thinking I'm getting way too old for clubs now. It's diva Emma's birthday tomorrow too (HAPPY BIRTHDAY EMS!) and we've planned to have a gathering after work for her. She's gathered us all to eat at The Wig and Pen. Where's that!?...Can I believe it's Tuesday already!?...NOPE...We've a massive public sector event on this week (Friday) so we're all running around like headless chickens in the studio to get a CD-rom, printed materials and visuals ready for this. When do we ever get a restful week here? I'm working on print materials for this Parenting Programme course running next week, deadline's looming but it's taking forever to get sign off from client! Working on a NEW board game too for The Student Jounalist Project...

Anyway, I'm glad diva Mark's feeling loads better too this week. Anita's off to Hong Kong in two weeks so I've got to let her know where all the best places are to pick up treats and bargains.
