Shake, Rattle and Roll! (earthquake in UK)

I've just woken up and had to type an entry to let you know how cinDz was rocked in her bed!
Did any of you feel the earthquake late last night, just before 1am? For some strange reason my body woke up in preparation for the shake. My eyes opened and then a few secs after, my bed shook hard - I felt the tremor. It was awfully strange - I really thought I was dreaming and actually ignored it, thinking it was just in my mind, then fell back to sleep (U don't expect earthquakes to occur in UK right??) but now, as I'm watching GM:tv all they're talking about is the earth tremors and the damages it caused. Luckily, no damages were caused at my end, later on I'll have to call up the family and see if they're alright...I've not mentioned the word 'earthquake' since my last geography lesson at school!! Gosh, what a night :)

The earthquake measuring 5.2 on the Richter scale (the highest recorded since 1984), the epicentre was in Lincolnshire. I hope you're OK, let me know if you were affected by it too, I want to hear your stories...
