It's been absolutely ages since I last wrote an entry...what the hell!?..am I slacking or what? Heytowners? U must get me back in form and leave me messages stating, how irresponsible I am at not keeping my hi-life entries up to date! (who wants to read old news anyway?)...
Lately, things have been great!
March is flying by really quick. It's been a very MaGicaL WinTerLanD kinda month. Wet, white and frezzzzzing!...a month that's made me wanna sleep and constantly binge of junk foods. At the beginning of the month Marco came over to qualify for the Snooker World Championships next month at The Crucible and Congrats to him-he'll be back in a few weeks...but Poo!!!...he's playing Ding in the first round, ouch...it'll be a toughy but GOOD LUCK to him (hopefully, he'll get me some tickets for the evening match to watch him play:)...
Candy came over to Sheff' for the Easter hols, and stayed for a good few days, we've had such a laugh and I've just heard she may be back this Sunday too (obviously she can't stay away from me)...BUT remember Candy, I'm in London for a few days and Sunday, I am booked for a day out with Suz. So it's probably next Thursday till we can meet for a catch up. Let me know when you're back in town.
Last Friday, we did our first road trip to Manchester together too. My first long haul drive, usually, for those Towners who don't know my driving experience very well *saying in a small tone* (I've not driven out of South Yorkshire very much!!!;)...Thanks for the birthday treat canD & Ming, I love it so much and is definitely a useful gift - no more saying "I can't get there" now.
It was great to see Manzi, Mangi and Josephine at Trafford Centre too. Let me know when you want to do the Mani run again Manzi, like you said, it's always FUN.
I finally took Chantel to the hairdressers last Saturday too, she's been asking me to take her since last year. They did her the perfect cut with a massive thick fringe (just as I asked!:)...if you're wondering which hairdressers did I go to? well, it's the one in Rotherham on Wellgate, Motu. They're great! I always go) and her mother was sooooo pleased with it (auntie Annie) that she's asked me to book her a Saturday appointment.
I met Suz on Tuesday (finally, a catch up with her), she's changed her Colt to a stylish and colourful Red Suzuki Ignis. When I drove past it last Friday - first time I saw it and WOW....straight away I said "That's sooooooo Siu-ann!", I love the colour hun. Will we meet this Sunday?...I hope so, I'll pray for it not to rain.
It's been a fairly OK week at diva too, maybe, that's because we've just had two 4 day working weeks and next week will just be a three for me. Work load wise, it's completely CRAZY. I love a good challenge and I get to have one every day here! I've been busy working on an illustrative cookbook for children, a hefty corporate plan, a load of promotional materials for an event (BRASH) we're doing in Birmingham this Saturday, at The Victoria Square. We've managed to get the guy who plays Jake Dean in Hollyoaks to make a celebrity appearance for it (he's not exactly on the same list as the celebs that Siu-Ann gets in her work's design studio though - Jared Leto!?). So if any of you are in B'ham City Centre around 12-3pm go and check out the inflatable pod at The Square (pick up some FREE goodie bags and the chance to win a Wii console!).
Hopefully, the arrival of my new bed will allow me to get some sleep too. The purpose of a new bed is very simple: GOOD SLEEP = HEALTHY CINDz = INSPIRATION! = GOOD DESIGN IDEAS. I've been told delivery's next Monday and I can't wait!
This current bed I've got is taking far too much space in my dinky bedroom, it's uncomfy, unattractive and seems like I need stepping ladders before I can actually get onto it! (why the hell did I pick this in the first place?...was it bcos it was cheap!?).
Finally, my Yo Heydays website is in a desperate need of a revamped image...Yes, I know guys. i need to get my act together and start pulling in new images/news/stories/articles....I've got my thinking cap on. Ideas just need ploughing out of my head and onto your computer screen...WAIT Towners, it will be coming soon! Keep checking for new pages :)
Many eventful days are coming up soon....wooo hooo, bring them on!!....
Oh, one last thing, next Thursday is my brother's birthday too - HAPPY BIRTHDAY JOHNNY!!...(come back home if you want your present)..
