Back for Good

Hello!!

Sorry for the ridiculously late absence - I have been hard at work, working on many exciting projects (including a new parental engagement campaign, the final produced goods 'samples' were delivered to us this Thursday and must say, looks amazing!!). I've been working on a new 'CinDz' mailer too and a few other personal projects PLUS the new house has created issues which has lead me chasing up builders and a few trips to B&Q...hence no time to do anything else!

I am now going to play catch-up on all things creatively wonderful and interesting in my life so expect a hench delivery of posts these next few days!!

Happy reading HeyTowners.

* The Feel Good Factors *

So whats the deal with CinDz life, whats goin on in her wierd mind, nothin much? nothin to say? I guess I'm just living life from day to day, and fending off whatever comes my way...
I haven't been good at keeping this Heydays journal up to date have I?...been far too busy you see! diva work is endlessly keeping me occupied, Pak Hoo, friends keeping me entertained and arranging lovely dinner dates with me, watching BB on channel 4 in the evenings. Time's whizzing sooo fast that I don't even have enough minutes to relect on what's happening to and around me...(sigh)

* UpDateS *
The past two weeks (thats how long I havent updated for), I've been over to Emma's place for a lovely meal, her housemate cooked us up a stir fry with noodles and black bean sauce and WOW it was good! (although the sauce was a packet of Sharwoods - I didn't expect him to make it from fresh, it was gorgeous!!), Emma's been away on Italy this week, she's back today so I'm hoping to see bags of expensive Italian coffee in the kitchen at work 2mw:)
* Diva Mel has booked me tickets to see Pop Princess Rhianna in December. I haven't been to a music concert for over ten years!!!! (yes, really)...

* I met Suz this Tuesday too, had a quick update and natter with her (well, not really 'quick' we never do anything quick togther). We had dinner at ASK, I really like it there, it's so good value for what you get plus the atmosphere is top notch! (Thanks to candy, afterall she was the frist person to introduce the place to me). I had this tasty Tuna Nicoise salad, Suz had Ravioli, both dishes looked and tasted YUM!

* I went to Mhall Thursday evening. I hadn't been there since it got flooded and still not all the stores downstairs were opened yet. It was abit like a ghost town, like a Bank Holiday - a small town when not all the shops are open. Most of them were boarded up with a splash of colour on the fronts and signage stating 'opening soon'...There's some GREAT bargains to pick up at the moment. The summer sale has arrived early, House of Fraser and Ted Baker have some gorgeous evening wear half priced, I was seriously tempted but every time I delve into my wardrobe and drawers I'm getting an headache. I'VE SO MUCH CLOTHES and JUNK!!! The other day when I had a clear out, I realised I have tops dated back from the 90s, clothing I've only worn once (probably never wear again too!!!.....eeewww), uhm, some sexy numbers too, 'wow wow' tops which i should wear more often.

* Candy invited me on a trip to Manchester. They should be there now. Soz Candy for not joining U, I was hoping to watch Harry Potter in the afternoon (swan off to Mhall first though, but as it's raining now, I've decided to stay indoors...I've arranged to meet Suz this evening to watch the new HP film. I've onlty ever watched one of the HP films and I've never read the books, but the trailers and reviews seem great so we should be in for a treat.

* I know Candy suggested Manchester to the guys cos she thought I'd enjoy a shopping trip right? awww, thanksQ!! I'm looking forward to next Tuesday too...we (Candy?) must arranged for something nice and tasty too. (msn U later)

* I've a busy and hectic week coming up. Lots of social gatherings too. Monday - indoors with family, Tuesday - out with friends for a congratulation gathering (hope leon and Daniel have a very memorable day on Weds, it's their graduation day:), Weds - is a diva night out with the colleagues, Friday - off to the cinema again to watch Hairspray with the diva colleagues. Saturday - Pak Hoo (chippy girl) and finally Sunday - hopefully a day of rest and a LONG lie in to recover.

It's a WET Sunday afternoon. Just eaten too, mom cooked pasta in soup, I'm stuffed and I'm feeling rather lethargic now...I guess it's part of that Sunday feeling.

A ditzy warm day

Very warm today...I had a tooth filled during my lunch hour, it was a mad rush and I ended up 15mins late, the dentist wasn't very impressed but I pulled a cute smile and apologised then it was OK (he always keeps me waiting anyway, last time I waited 25mins for him!!!)...my mouth was all numb in the afternoon and I kept talking with a slur, whilst answering the phones I'm sure the clients were thinking 'who the hell is this girl?...she can't spk properly!!'
Finally all the sweets/cakes/biscuits/gums/dolly mixtures/ have got to my teeth...but then all the male eye candy at work doesn't help too (too many sweet guys in our diva workplace...hehheheee:)...

Uhmmmm, today was boiling too!!! We should have air con' installed...Dan, my design team leader is great too! lately we've been getting on well and he's been giving me alot of guidance on pieces of work, a project I'm working on, everytime we chat/he advises me, I learn so much from him (thanks Dan), he's definitely a great team manager, very encouraging and will talk to you on a level that's not only a colleague but also a good friend too...awwwww....
Again, I'm still hooked on Facebook, getting to know and find 'old' school mates, it's so funny finding and networking with friends I haven't seem in centuries then giggling at a pic of them bcos they've changed so much (changed to good of course:)..During the weekend I've added Mel, Hayley from diva, the group's list is expanding (already have Mark, Paul, Emma added...), get signed up Dan, Chris, Steve and Martin!!! (u might think it's sad, but there's nothing else better to do in the evenings!)...Poking people on Facebook is fun! (too many pokes, friends can get cheesed off=)

Finally, booked to play badminton after work 2mw with Candy (I haven't played any sports for ages, so I'm not looking forward to it)...BUT, things we don't like/enjoy will do us good right?...hopefully yoga next too (candy? Suz?)

Our dream jobs

You're a visionary in many people's eyes — able to think outside the box to come up with your own solutions. You are not necessarily creative in the artistic sense, but because you can expand your mind to do things differently it might take a while for colleagues to recognise and reward you for your entrepreneurial spirit and abilities.

You make it hard for people to pigeon hole you so you need a job that allows you to play to your strengths, break out of the mould, and truly excel...U should have many dreams, keep dreaming of them bcos they can come true if you really want them!

You may not be aware that your an inspiration to others, or that people (especially your friends) find your existence truely overwhelming. In being there for one another, we give each other the support and security human beings are longing for. Whether we have girlfiends, boyfriends, boy/girl mates, a close family, brothers and sisters, knowing we have someone (up) there looking over us is a 'warm' feeling no money could buy.
