Pot Luck!

Yesterday, Sunday, me and brother went to The Crucible to support a friend of mine playing a tournament in Sheffield....and he lost! we were both gutted. We kinda expected this afterall he was loosing 6-1 the previous night...Oh well, I hope my friend at the moment isn't feeling too bad (we'll see U next year :)...have a safe trip home.
I have a feeling this week will be such a rush, I'm off on a long break away at the weekend and nothing has been done yet! I've a bad feeling I'm going to forget something. People always seem to look forward to their holidays but to me, I kinda feel a holiday can be a chore (quite stressful too, and bloody long haul flights, they give me bum ache and the leg room space is ridiculous...)...hopefully when I arrive at the destination it'll be worth it. I'll drop U HeyTowners a postcard!

At work, diva is currently working on its new branding identity (from new stationery identity to its website) and our deadline for this is the end of the week - so my team better get cracking! I'm looking forward to this week (bcos 2weeks off afterwards - heheee!)

CONGRATULATIONS TO MY COUSIN MING TOO!! He's found a new job...good luck at your new work place, you've worked hard to find a decent place. All the best :)

Happy Mother's Day

Last weekend I received an unexpected phone call from a close friend saying he had arrived form HK to pay us a visit for a tournament he was to play in at The English Institute of Sport (opposite Sheff' Ice), and 'wow' it was so nice to hear from you.
Well done Marco for getting through to qualify for the televised stages of the 888.com World Snooker Championship (we knew you'd be OK:).

Monday, I was asked for dinner at Jumbo with friends (I haven't been to that place in ages, but their mini cheesecakes are yum!), and I was also invited to a hot pot dinner at Leon's home but had to turn you all down...sorry! Beginning of the week was crazy, I had to keep my friend company. but this week, any invitations to anywhere, I am up for it HeyTowners! It's Jimmy's birthday tomorrow (Happy birthday Jimmy:) so hopefully something's planned...

Other Thoughts and Comments
- Thanks for the personalised signature to Candy Marco, we went to the gym on Friday, but I didn't have any fun! I've learnt that my health's so poor - after those two sessions on the rowing machine, I felt sick!! I'm proud of you CanD, keep it up.

- I've realised I must find some alternative hobbies and interests to keep myself active and mind relaxed. I am really considering yoga lessons - anyone done this before?, or joining a social activity group.
I'm thinking of writing a story too (with quirky illustrations done by me) - I have an idea for the story (it's based on this weird dream I had the other day, I woke up and tears were streaming from my face - it might sound strange but it's so true, that dream was damn moving! I guess i have been thinking too deeply lately). When I was younger, I had an ambition to become a writer y'know and often would write fairytale stories :)

- Happy Mother's Day.
Today was another family gathering at Wong Ting, this time it was us that treated and spoilt our mums. It's always god damn busy there, perhaps we try Zing Vaa for dim sum one Sunday? It's awfully cold today, been snowing and hail stoning too, beginning of the week is predicted to be very cold and more snow, so get those jumpers back out girls.

- I will definitely be going to Hong Kong next month, ticket's not booked yet but tomorrow I'll be swanning off to the travel agents. I can't wait, I'm already booking myself in for the hairdressers, a day at Disneyland and shopping trips to update my wardrobe. Shame Suz and CanD cannot go too with me.
But it'll be great to see everyone over there again! (ahhh, so much to look forward to).
