Another birthday, another new year...

Happy Birthday Johnny...it was brothers bday yesterday.
All week, he's been indecisive on what he wanted to do for the day...suggestions given had been, Alton Towers? BBQ? House gathering? dinner at Frankie and Benny's?...never have I known a guy so indecisive about things. But the final event was: A day out in Birmingham! Alan, Kathy and her brother came all the way up from Northampton to pay us Sheff' crew a visit, they're staying with us over the Easter weekend. We arranged to meet them in Birmingham for lunch, We'd originally planned to set off from Sheff' at 10.30am (pick up ming & canD) then it delayed to 11.30am, and then 12.15pm!!!...god, Johnny's organisation skills have got to improve...but I'm sure ppl are so used to us arriving late now and just assume we will.
Well, originally planned was Sushi at Shogun Japanese restaurant but when we arrived there, the place was shut for Easter! (ahhhh...) - so another decision had to be made, where to go next? and you know us, we are crap at making instant decisions! (another 20mins consumed)

My Ex-uni friend, Emmy came out to join us too. Thanks Ems for all the goodies and treats! We caught up on loads of things. After Yam Cha in Chung Ying (maybe I've eaten too many times in WT, but the food today there wasn't up to CinD'z standards!...but as long Johnny was happy, he seemed to like his Wun Tun noodle soup:)
Shame Suz couldn't join us today. After a late lunch, we just snooped around in The Bullring, spreed around Selfridges and after a hour or so, it was back home. I'm sure Johnny took us the LONG way back home, took almost two hours to get back, plus we had to play a toll of £3, which we didn't do on the way down.

Well later it was a house gathering at mine for Johnny's bday, was cool, made a change to going out. What shall we have for evening dinner leh? Chinese? Indian? Chicken? (it was almost 9pm so we were pretty peckish). The guys went off to ASDA and bought back loads of snacks, pizzas, alcohol and drinks, this was mixed with a takeaway order of Chinese food from up the road, our order came up to over £55 and the lady only offered us a meesley 10% discount! OK-ish food btw and ooh their sweet and sour sauce was really good, I picked out all the pineapple chunks and peppers!
We took a lot of vain pics on the digiCam, viewed the pictures of my bday on Lisa's camera in Feb on the TV, watched Alan and Kathy Wan's wedding DVD. Ahhh, it was a really good relaxing evening/night and morning. Bedtime for me was 3am this morning....

It's Saturday 7th April and I wake up to such a beautiful day, the sun is shining again, the air is cool, clear blue skies, so fresh and feel no pressures on me (not back in diva till Tuesday) so I feel like I can relax. Back in Pak Hoo for the day, so I must type off now (its 9.10am) and get ready for another eventful Hey-day ahead!
