This world is rather small isn't it?
I arrived in Hong Kong on Sunday (29th April), after a hectic and uncomfortable 12 hours on the plane from Heathrow, I arrived to the sity that never sleeps and is the dreamland for shopping and eating!!! The weather's nt as bad as I thought it would be...at least bearable and eventhough I've been here for a good few days already I'm rather suprised by how little amount of shopping I've done...haha!!
Since arriving..I've been to the hairdressers for a rather nice cut and colour in Tsim Sha Tsui, bought some 'sensible' shoes for walking in (trainers), eaten and drunk loads!! On Tuesday, I went on the Cable car to the Lantau Islands (big buddha area), the cabl car thing which allws you to se ALL of HK (360 degrees) this is a new attraction (just 6 months old) so there were a lot of tourists and things to see, it was a rather hot day too....I went to the BIG BUDDHA too.
....So far - continued, I've met friends and families (I went bowling Weds night in Olympic and (Tuesday night) went to to see Spiderman 3, I knw it's nt out in the UK yet but you guys wil love it! (very good). I've been to Central for shopping with Tommy. He tok me to the H&M store in central (hmmmmmm, i wasnt that impressed with the fashion there and thought UKs H&Ms are evn better!!) (Thursday), I'm off to Stanley today with Fiona nd Tommy too (Ka Fai and Ting joining too, but not sure about marco and others yet...), I've planned to swan off to China later today too (jesus.....I heard some very strange and bizzare news from a friend yesterday about vising China and how to be extremely careful when I'm over there - I wnt go into details bcos it'll put u off the country for life!! but one thing is for sure, I aint going to the toilets or anywhere by myself!!). I had a big family family dinner gathering yesterday (13 of us), had Seafood Galore in Kowloon Sing. The shop assistants are getting on my nerves over here too (wish they'd just leave me alone when I enter their shop!!!:).
It's been great seeing old friends again. But I've alos come up with a conclusion (a decision) with what i want (sigh!!:)...I'm missing all my heyTown frds too...how are HeyTowners leh? I'm going to make sure I have a good break over here, I'm really determined to make good use of the time, cos I know when I'm back over in the UK it's gunna be the same old routine again! Hope diva's coping without me too :)
anyway....I've ben having serious problems sleeping since arriving (average just 4-5 hrs a day of sleep) I'm nt sure why....maybe it's bcos I'm thinking of shopping to much (hahaha) anyway, I'll be OK.
