What I'm up to... CinDz

I missed out on our weekly session of badminton this week, the sports centre had a power failure and luckily we were able to postpone it to next weekend (damn, that breaks up our consecutive sessions!). Our curry night treat with work colleagues was also postponed on Thursday as the boss had a meeting elsewhere and couldn't get back in time for us, but instead me and five other colleagues still ended up going out for a social gathering and ended up in Las Iguanas (in the West One complex), have U ever been in there? it was my first time too, and honestly....uhmmmm....if U like red kidney beans then you'll think it's great!
Some people aren't keen mixing with colleagues out of work hours, others will find themselves in the situation where their only friends ARE their colleagues. I suppose it's important to create a balance, afterall, we're in the workplace more than we're at home! I see my design chums more than my own family (they're inspiring, witty, loveable and friendly) and I suppose when you're in need of advice, a smile or company, who can U actually run to? It's nice how every Friday there are offers to go for an 'after work' drink and gathering. Socialing with colleagues and by doing so has allowed me to get closer to them, you learn stories about them of their past and get a better sense of what sort of person they are. Most of them are really funny too!

Dates planned so far with fellow divas includes:
- Going to The Lyceeum to watch Chicago (tickets bought for us Candy:), watching Hairspray at The Odeon (20th July??), watching Transformers at Cineworld (this is Locks suggestion - end of the month) and a 'curry night' paid by the company as a thank you!!

Congratualations to Steve Dupree, this week he and his girlfriend bought their first home! He was full of smiles and happiness on Monday.

This week at work, I've been a complete moody CinDz. I've been feeling sombre and tedious. The lighting in the studio is awful (we're all trying to be more eco-friendly in the office, so we're being tight with the lighting which makes the studio really dark and darkness is making me sleepy!!!), I feel I haven't said more than ten sentences to Dan this week (sorry!!), he's been really kind too - asking whether I'm alright? But I've just been a right moody cow this week...aahhhhhh......
Suz bought pizzas from Somerfield for our Friday lunch yesterday.

I'm hoping for a nice restful, dry weekend. I'm not exactly sure what I have planned yet but I know for sure today, I'll be in Pak Hoo serving up chinese food and putting my unique customer service skills to test (smile!!:)...Shrek3 is out too. Perhaps go and see that on Sunday, if it's raining, I'll stay indoors and go to HeyTown instead!

The Spice Women Reunion: After years of well-deserved derision at their solo exploits, you can't blame the Spice Girls for coming back for a last taste of glory.
And let's face it - their comeback has to be more exciting than All Saints.

I'm intrigued by the TWO London bombing scares that happened yesterday too.
