I went to the Endcliffe park yesterday for some 'Fun in the Sun' and we certainly did have fun! I hadn't been to that place in ages and yesterday the weather was superb!!!...good idea Chris to go to the park. Originally the plan was to go and have a game of Softball? but he'd only given us two days notice for the event and it ended up just a handful of us turning up to the park. It was great to see Emma and Anita out of diva hours - just lazing around, chatting and sun bathing felt fab'.
I ended up playing football with the guys too (I hadn't ran so much in my life - last time, perhaps was Cross country at school?), Anita ended up in goal and got a massive whack from the ball from Tomo, (ouch!!) I hope she's feeling much better today, Emma was a striker with me too, Rupert was our Captain, and Chris was on the opposition team - he was very sweaty yday, ewwwww!!!....we made a new little friend playing footy too, he was called Lewis, with amazing footy talents. He must'd only been about 9yrs old, he saw us all kicking a ball about and wanted to join us (small in height but BIG in character :)...Emma's and Chris has taken pictures so see their albums on facebook, I took one or two too but it takes me ages to upload my pics...
Hopefully, we're playing softball together next weekend. Uhmmmm, HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO LEON TOO!!! His birthday today, let us know your plans and what you have been doing today in China- I hope you're enjoying yourself. I'm hoping to pop down London for the day on the 24th Aug, visit some LONG NOT SEEN friends (Oni? MiKe? Baz?), consume some culture and shopping and hopefully find the time to see a musical too (Grease or Joseph and his Technicolour Dreamcoat?...decisions, decisions)...
Mom made sushi (again) yesterday and I took some into work with me today, the guys (Lock and Martin seemed to have a very joyful afternoon with the sushi, Lock even tried grilling them in the microwave!!! and mark seemed to like the seaweed sheets too)...Right, off to have a nice restful evening now...
Have a nice day!
