Wuuuu hooooo, the weekend's finally arrived!! It's arrived early for us this week, the bosses have been generous and given us divas a day off! (a well-earned rest, about time too, after all that shear hard work we all put in!).
It's Chris's birthday on the 3rd Sept, but we all celebrated it today at work - I HOPE U HAVE A GOOD HOLIDAY & BIRTHDAY TANGO, make sure you get some beauty sleep too and a well earned break. I'll see U when you're back in two weeks...
I'm swanning off to London in the morning. FINALLY, I'll get to have a catch up with my long lost LDN frds which I've been neglecting. I've been telling/saying to them for the past few years that I'd come down to visit - and I finally am! :) I'm dead excited now, just been MSN-ing one of them and I'm really looking forward to the trip and seeing how people have changed.
This weekend is the Notting Hill Carnival. For those who dnt know about the Carnival - Held each August Bank Holiday since 1966, Notting Hill Carnival is the largest celebration of its kind in Europe. Music is at the heart of the Carnival, with traditional and contemporary sounds, there's a parade too. But Sunday will be the Children's day and Monday the Adult's.
I'm going to this with Oni and have been told by a colleague today to wear comfortable shoes and not to carry any expensive IPods etc and to bring along a bottle of water and plenty of tissues then enjoy the vibrant party!...
I'm hoping to go to Madame Tussauds on Saturday, then to see a musical in the evening with Baz and Oni too (the tickets aren't booked yet but hoping to get some tickets from the booths in Leicester SQ - fingers crossed I get to see GREASE...). I'm hoping to have a star-studded day at Madame Tussauds!...hahahaaa....
awwww, suz? I wish you was also joining this weekend too. I remember the last time we went down, do you? it was such a laugh and that hostel we stayed in too? OMG, i'll never forget that place.
