Freinds come and go, but good ones are remembered

One of my good girl-friends is leaving Sheffield tomorrow to continue her studies back home. She's got two more years of hardcore studying so I'm wishing her LOADS of luck and for her to do her best! I've not known her (yes, I'm sure she knows who she is) for a long time (we first met at the After Dark event last Nov 2006) but we've shared so many things together this year.

There's not many ppl you can connect with easily, there are some ppl you can trust, others you'd never be able to share anything with, some frds who you can turn to for advice, others who you know are just for fun, some friends are two-faced - U know they'd gossip behind your back but you're friends with them bcos they're cool, others who'd you would just call 'hi and bye friends!' - these are ppl who you may bump into randomly and then say hi as you pass and then it's a quick 'byeeeeeeee, I need to get off' to them. Friends come into our lives quite easily don't they? as old friends leave - exit from us and however much we/you say we'll stay in touch, hope to see U soon and please call or write, etc...as time plods on, what we've shared together just becomes distant memories and an experience we've shared. New friends and names enter, we bond and the same cycle occurs. Finally, to those friends I've lost touch with - I hope we can meet up again soon.
I'm fortunate to have a great mix of acquaintances.

Random thoughts and comments

Siu-ann? when will we meet for our weekly catch up? Candy? Take care over in Ireland, I know you keep saying "I'll be back more often than you think" but it's still kinda not the same. What ever happens in the future, I know we've shared some good times in the past :)
Dan? How's the jog hunting going along in HK?
Leon will be back from China this month, he's been away for almost 2 months! It was Mangi's birthday this week (13th), I'm guessing he had a great day.
Work's plodding on fine, the beginning of next week will be a nightmare, I've got a few jobs off to print so hopefully will be able to strike them off my production sheet ASAP!!! After a few nightmares on a daily trot, you get used to them and you get better at fighting off the zombies and ghosts - hahahaha, don't we Marky/Lock and Dan? Every one in the studio this week has been infected with the illness virus, I was feeling unwell Thursday night, Marks been down and Tango had to take a day off work Friday to recuperate. The bosses are back in the studio next week, they've had this week off and a new girl joined the events team this Monday.

There are sooooooooo many ppl I want to/should really e-mail and get in touch with, but time is the essence to almost everything! (I'm going to write a hi-life blog on TIME next, it'll be an interesting read:)

Congratulations to my cousin Fiona for giving birth to a baby boy last weekend, he's just a tiny baby 2.7kg but I've seen the pictures and he's adorable! They both look so happy. (at the moment, if you ask me if the baby looks cute then I'd say no, newborn baby's skin is so red and rashy, it looks sore and he seems so vulnerable - so pls ask me next month).

LEON once mentioned in his blogs the following:...
He thought......

Friends are like good books. U will learn a lot if u read very carefully;
Friends are like fitness exercises. U can keep your body fit by doing different exercises;
Friends are more like music. They present various emotions. U just cant miss any one of them in your life;
Friends make your life, make u alive!
If I was a future teller, I would tell you all a secret that in the far future. That is, everything may change but one thing, our friendship!

A man (humans) always wants to be better...why's that?
