Monday evening I did some overtime at work, whilst on the way home, it was absolutely freezing and last night, whilst on the way to Meadowhall after work I realised it's about time to invest in a new winter coat! - I hate this time of the year...Short days and long nights, leaving work it's dark and miserable.
Quick comments/Random ramblings
- I've planned to watch Shoot 'em Up (Clive Owen's new film with Monica Bellucci) this evening with some colleagues from work.
- I'm quickly getting a few print jobs out of the way too at the moment - striking them off my production sheet nicely. Dan (the print manager) is off this week, he's down in Cornwall so our team is left to fend for ourselves in the studio. It's been kinda good so far - beginning of the week was manic (Shirley's presentation for A.Todd using Flash was doing my head in!! I hadn't used Flash in a long time and the latest version MX8 took a bit getting used to)...it's almost at an end now.
- So far I have only met up with a few of my dear friends, Facebook's keeping me in touch with them though, today I added Jon (from my deepblue days :) as a friend and found out he's a new addition to his family). Lauren (deepblue) is an aunt again too, gosh, I can remember when I designed the wedding invitations for Noel and his missus's wedding in 2005!!!
- I've read half of this month's GLAMOUR mag, it takes the mick when you ca't even find the time to have a sit down to read a magazine!!!
Plus I am not having sufficient rest at night at the mo' (roughly getting 5hours sleep a day - I annoyingly keep waking up quite early).
- I've been busy car searching these past few days too. Been heavily absorbed on websites like Auto Trader, What Car and the Parkers Guide (yes!!! Seriously) although some of the jargon does puzzle me and their not exactly web pages that tantalizes me, but if I wana pick up a decent car this week, then I gotta get up to date with the knowledge!
Wrap up warm (my heating is on full blast at the moment) a frosty day/night ahead - time to dig out those trendy thermals!

Hi Cindy, so did you get the coat from river island? belfast is very cold too. I managed to unpack all of my boxes in one day (I did some repacking at ming's, so I 'only' have 8 boxes) my place is becoming more homey now... when's the next bank holiday? come and visit me. oh, by the way, ming and i are 'planning ' to come back on the second week of oct. I let you know more once I've booked my ticket.
