December's snapping past!

Ahhhh, what a mega busy few weeks! Since December's arrived it's been non-stop and all go go go!! (why is it like this every year!?)...and it's mid-Dec already.

I forgot to mention how the Rhianna concert last Friday at The Hallam Arena went, she was amazing and supporting act was Ciara (remember the singer who sung Goodies?), I thought she was an amazing supporting act (actually performed better songs and dances than Rhianna). Mel is good fun going to a concert with and of course we were jigging to the songs too - We had great seats Melanie! :)
I was disappointed that Rhianna's closing song, Umberella, was mimed (YES!), even though all night she kept mentioning she had a sore throat, apologising and was drinking lots of water (I read in the papers she was almost about to cancel the whole concert)...she looked fantastic though.

These few days I've finally been writing and emailing Xmas cards. If I've missed anyone out please let me know - Facebook me a msg or email. I'll be out next Thursday for Christmas drinks with the diva posse, so if any long lost friends want to join me for some Xmas cheer, you're very welcome too.

The Clothes Show Live on the 10th was a good outing, a long, tiresome day. It was an 8am set off and eventually arrived back home 10.30pm but I managed to fit in a lot, see many faces and to have catch ups with old friends. Thanks for coming out Jerry and Emmy. Any celebs at The CSL U ask? Uhmmm, not really. Shayne Ward sung Thats OK With You, before the show and the 'teenage population' audience went hysterical, he looked incredibly good in his suit - and he was loving the attention.

U could see some of the girls had made a massive effort to attend the event, they're wanting to spotted after all...There were quite a few modelling agencies, design schools and stalls wanting to give visitors make-overs for only £5. I thought the Show last year was slightly better, there seemed to be more dancing and the styles of clothes were more varied, the 'topless' male models kept dancing into the crowds, which made the audience go even more hysterical (it was good to see them interacting with us, that didn't happen last year). The dancers were great and I managed to watch one of the Eve Style shows too - it's good how we can interact with the fashion industry. This event has a great buzz to it and that's probably why sooooooooooo many fashionista wannabe attend!
Gok Wan from Channel 4's How to Look Good Naked was confirmed to appear LIVE at the show...on Friday 7th December tho:(

I finally go to do some Christmas shopping in Meadowhall last night. I went into the new All Saints store and, WOW amazing styles in there. It was nice to see all the gorgeous, fancy party wear on sale (girls?...it's time to get girly this season), with ruffles a-plenty and a soft colour palette of light greys, purples, baby blues and clean whites. Prom styled dresses decorated with oversized bows and flower motifs, I was aaaahhhhing and awwwwwing everywhere I turned.
