January Blues...hello 2008

Dearest HeyTowners! A Happy New Year to you! wish u all the best for 2008 and a great year ahead for us, this is when we will achieve and experience loads, i'm so lookin forward! really is going to be a bright bright year full of joy and celebration!

I cannot beieve I haven't typed a Hi-life entry for almost a month, what and where have I been? I guess December was a month of too much fun that I must've got caught up with things, ands so was too busy to comment! But I've got a few mins spare now before I get ready for work...

Well Christmas was great, I had such a great Christmas eve and Christmas day at home, spending time with family and friends. Xmas day was a house packed of family members (yes, 20 of us in our dinky house), where good food was served, smiles exchanged and presents delivered. We were given two whole weeks off work, so I managed to use the time wisely by catching up with friends and making good use of the January sales. I managed to fit in shopping times with my favourite girls, Candy and Suz, didn't we do well in the SALES this year Suz? woooo hoooo, those blazers we bagged in Selfridges were blingin' good! It was so nice to have a catch up with you, a day well spent. We hadn't been on a road trip together in years so it felt extra special that day...
Good luck in your exams this month Candy, do as best as you can and then you won't regret or dwell on things afterwards...reVise, reVise!!...see U when you're back in Sheffield again later this month.

Father Christmas was good to me this year and delivered me lots of goodies - gifts which included two new coats, perfumes, nice crispy notes in red envelopes but he was not THAT generous, where was my Apple imac Santa??? is this delayed in the post? (OK, I will wait for it:). I finally took down the Xmas tree at home yesterday, was this late? I guess not, i was walking through town and the city's main tree and its decorations were only just being taken down. It feels sad to know another Xmas has just whizzed by just like that, a year vanished! so it makes me realise time is just snapping past (sigh!), so much more to do and achieve...Rememeber HeyTowners that you will only get out what you put in, so strive to do your very best!

Goodbye 2007, hello 2008...These days I feel so much stronger and confident as a person, I've got this sense that 2008 will be a special year for me too...something nice will happen to me I hope? will it be work related? relationships? career wise? Investment opportunities? we shall see...not knowing is what makes me excited and more ambitious.
Johnny (brother) is currently still here on his break from uni but leaves this Thursday (10th), since coming back for Christmas we've been getting on well, perhaps the distance apart does make him realise the importance of good family. I was back at work last Thursday, so far so good. I'm working on the Student Journalist Board Game ATM, it's my first board game and it's going very well too! A working protoype of the actual finished thing, with it's box (packaging), playing cards, dice and counters has to be made for a meeting this Friday. This project has been a good one (9 out of ten, so I'm really looking forward to taking it to the manufacturing stage soon)...We're going through a quiet period at diva, but I shouldn't spk too soon, knowing what we're like, I'll be swamped with briefs by the end of the day! (yep, it's really that unpredictable...)
Oh by the way, the cold chills and heavy miserable rains have caught up with us now, it was heavy snow last Thursday in Sheffield and I wasn't prepared, so please do wear more my Hey-friends, keep well and try not to get ill! (that January bug is still creeping around us) and if you're already ill, I hope for you to get well soon!

SPRING TIME???...please come to us soon...

Which brings me to the end of this hi-life blog as I must get ready for diva work hehe (i'm llooking at the time and am in panic bcos I'm running late!!), Much love to u all from Missie CinDz!
